Jade Maharlika Brewster
Jade grew up in Austin, Texas and is currently attending the University of Texas at Austin where she is a junior and majoring in Government. After graduation she plans to continue her studies and attend Law School either at UT-Austin or Harvard Law School. Jade helps out her community by mentoring with the Big Brother Big Sister Program. Her hobbies include playing Tennis and cooking Filipino dishes. |

Stephanie To Lan Ho
Stephanie graduated from Pflugerville High School where she was President of her graduating class. She plans to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio. Stephanie dreams of becoming a Dentist specializing in veneers. Her hobbies include swimming, playing the piano or the marimba and most importantly SMILING. She enjoys dancing and listening to music on her spare time. |

Thinh T. Le
Tawn as her family and friends fondly call her, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin last May with a major in MARKETING & Asian American Studies. She is currently the Account Manager & Market Researcher for BMP Radio in Austin, Texas. Tawn is very active in the Asian-American community and volunteers her time to the SAHELI Organization and other worthwhile charitable organization. She was also the founder and President of the Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc in 2004 to the present. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, reading poetry. |

Marie L Baldonado
Mia as family and friends fondly call her is a graduate of Haverford College in Haverford, PA where she majored in Anthropology. She moved to Austin from New Jersey a year ago and is currently the Outreach and Events Coordinator working for the AAACC, Austin Asian American Chamber of Commerce. Mia has many years of dance training in jazz; tap lyrical, modern, hip-hop, musical theatre, ballroom and Filipino traditional dances. Her hobbies are knitting and sewing. |

Loris T. Tran
Representing the Tropical land, Vietnam, Loris is pursuing and finishing her last semester as an MBA degree student at the University of Texas at Austin. Besides being a full time daughter, student and employee, Loris also teaches Vietnamese at Linh-Son Temple for young children. She is blessed with super parents, a loving family members and wonderful friends. Family, Friends, Community, Education and Work make her happy and balancing these aspects fulfill her goals in life. |

Varapon Kongkeattikul
Varapon, or Vara for short, graduated with honors from Martin High School in Arlington. She will be attending the University of Arizona and will major in Marketing. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council. Vara was also a public relations officer of her Key Club. She played both high school and select volleyball where she got the chance to play in tournaments nationwide, including here at the Austin Convention Center. |

Stella Huang
Stella is from the beautiful island of Taiwan. She is easy going, energetic and an ambitious young woman. Stella is attending the University of Texas at Dallas and is currently in the MBA program in International Management. Her past achievement in college, include being the captain of the girls basketball team, playing the guitar and singing in a band as well as being the Vice President of the student association. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese. Stella is willing to embrace the opportunities and learn as much as she can. Her motto: Seize the day and strive for what I want. |

Ana M. Baladad
Ana currently attends Baylor University majoring in History and Political Science. After her early graduation in December, 2008 she plans to attend Law School and get a Ph. D in History. Ana is a classically trained violinist, pianist and vocalist. But her main passion is dancing Filipino Folk dances. Her hobbies include baking, reading historical texts, performs random research and choreograph cultural dances for Baylor to perform during GoodPhil. Allyn Hoang
Allyn is a student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Broadcast Journalism. In pursuit of her career as a journalist, Allyn began working with NBC Universal at the age of 17. She travels to New York City often to experience television at the network level. Allyn enjoys working with NBCs critically acclaimed drama, Friday Night Lights as well as contributing to MTV. Allyn takes pleasure in working with the Asian American Community, most notably hosting events and performing magic shows. |

Tina Marie Hogue
Tina was born in Pyongtaek, South Korea to Tim and Chong Sun Hogue. Her father was stationed in Osan, South Korea when he met her mother. They moved to Texas when she was about 4 years and have always called the Lone Star State her home. Tina currently attends the University of Texas in Austin and is majoring in Film and Photojournalism. Tina aspires to be a documentary photojournalist and to be a writer of both fiction novels and screenplays. Her hobbies are photography, poetry, creative writing and painting. Her interests include traveling to different countries, learning about other cultures, reading classic literature and browsing wikipedia and facebook for hours. |

Natalie Nicole Lyons
Natalie is a senior in High School and a sophomore in College in a dual-credit program at Richland Collegiate High School in Dallas, TX. She is a member of the College National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa. When shes not in school she works as a receptionist at a tax office and is also a private math tutor. Natalie loves to travel every time she gets a chance and later preserve the memories through scrap booking with Creative Memories, an organization she has helped her Mom with for the last 6 years. Natalie is a thoughtful, caring, intelligent and always gives from her heart. |

Krystal McDaniel
Krystal is currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin. Her major is Education in Composition Science. With her degree she is hoping to become a secondary teacher and teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Geology. She is involved in a program called UTeach at UT. The program provides hands-on experience in local schools in Austin for future teachers of America. On her spare time, Krystal likes to hang out with friends, read books, get on the Internet, eat variety of foods, swim and be creative. |

Aishwarya Raju
Aishwarya is currently a Biology senior at the University of Texas at Austin. She plans to attend medical school starting in the fall. She loves to dance and has been doing so since she was 3 years old. Her hobbies include reading, listening to music and watching tons and tons of movies. She considers two of her greatest accomplishments to be starring as a female lead in an independent Hindi-English movie called Aaj Kal and winning the Miss Talent title at the United States Miss Earth 2007 pageant held a few weeks ago. Her greatest loves in life are her faith, her family and friends AND chocolate in any form. |

Uyenvy Tran (Pronounced WEEN VEE)
Uyenvy is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin and hoping to pursue a law degree in the near future. She is very passionate about making a difference in this world and therefore she co-founded a charity organization named, Women Alliance for Vietnams Education (WAVE). This organization is registered with the State of Texas. Uyenvy have helped shelter and offered educational opportunities to 206 orphanages and children with disability at Ky Quang Temple, which is located in Saigon, Vietnam. She enjoys projects like that and is looking forward to more projects as such. |
